10:36 a.m. - 2006-11-28 Some of these things I didn't even remember until reading this list! - What did YOU do in the 80's? Q: Did you own a Light Brite? Yes Q: Played with Strawberry Shortcake doll? Yes, had one doll and a few of the plastic figurines. In fact, I found them at Target a couple years ago, and just stood there in the aisle smelling them for about 20 minutes. What a blast from the past! Q: Played with GI-Joe doll? No - but my brother did. Q: Have a He-man or She-Ra toy? No, but I remember them. Q: Own a slinky? I don't think I actually owned a Slinky, but I think my brother might have. Haven't they been around a lot longer than the 80's, though? Q: Had a Jem doll? No - don't remember them either. I must have been a teenager then. Q: What about a Cabbage patch kid? I *finally* received one for my 16th birthday, which I personally thought was a little weird, but I appreciated the thoughts and sentiments behind it. Her name was Majorie Sonia and she had red hair. Q: Own a big wheel? No, I moved straight from the banana seat bike to the ten speed at age 8. Q: Trade Garbage Pail kids? Yeah, my brother and I giggled lots over Garbage Pail Kids. They're hilarious! Q: Had a Popple? No, and I don't remember them at all. Q: Had a Pound Puppy? No. I remember the annoying jingle though.... "Pound Puppies, they're my one and only puppy love..."
